Geography

We aim to ensure we equip our pupils with knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with a deep understanding of the Earth’s changing key physical and human processes. We aim to engage and inspire pupils and encourage them through the development of skills, practical experiences and purposeful learning, to acquire a thirst for knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live. We have unique children in a unique environment and therefore we are committed to providing children with opportunities to investigate and explore their local area of Seaham. From this, our intention is that they develop a sense of their own and their community’s identity, their heritage and what makes our local area unique and special.
