On the centenary of WW1, everyone from St Mary Magdalen’s remembers the many who have died during conflict and war. ‘Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.’
Vane Tempest Class Liturgy
Thank you to all who joined Vane Tempest class for their morning class liturgy. It was a lovely occasion reflecting on the importance of friendship, helping others and building bridges.

The children who are returning from London have been delayed. The expected time for arrival at school is now 11pm. I will contact parents when the coach is approximately 40mins away from school so that you can arrange pick up.

Spooky Writing Day 2018
To celebrate Halloween this year the children spent the day producing fantastic spooky writing. Our Spooky Writing Day was filled with spooky writing fun which the children presented to each other in our whole school assembly. The day ended with our annual halloween disco organised by the Friends of the School.

Our new Mini Vinnies were formally welcomed into our Mini Vinnie group. They made their Mini Vinnie pledge during a whole school assembly which was attended by Mrs and Mrs Rooney, our SVP parish link.

Food for Thought Day 2018
The children spent a day thinking about the importance of food both locally and nationally and also across the world. The children would like to say a big thank you to all parents who donated food to school. This food was presented by our Mini Vinnies to our local food bank.
X Factor visits school
The children enjoyed an X factor treat today when Molly Scott (A finalist in The X Factor 2018) sang to the children. It was great to hear such fabulous singing and we wish Molly all the best as she progresses through the competition.
