A big well done to Mrs Thompson and our Year 2 class!  The children had a very successful fundraising afternoon today making spooky crafts, selling cakes and selling raffle tickets. Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended and contributed to the day. A grand total of £268 was raised – a well deserved result for such hard work.

Congratulations to the Year 5 and 6 Cross Country teams who competed in the Easington Schools Cross Country event. Everyone excelled themselves over a gruelling course!

Well done in particular to the Year 5 and 6 girl’s team who came first! They now go on to the regional finals next year.

Well done to all of our children who have had a fabulous day working on maths activities and challenges. Who would have thought maths was so much fun! Thank you to Mrs Thompson for organising the day.

Congratulations to  Alex Atkinson and Amelia Appleby from Year 6 who are our new Head Boy and Head Girl. I am sure they will do a fantastic job for the school.

Our Year 6 children had a fabulous afternoon celebrating Faith 15 at Northumbria University. It was lovey to meet so many other schools and to meet the Bishop.

We now have a school blog. Our blog will contain stories about our assemblies, visits and visitors and all the other wonderful things that happen in our school.
