A big well done to our fabulous children who took part in the regional skipping competition and were worthy winners overall. The competition involved a number of individual events that our children excelled at. A very big well done to all the children who brought their Easter paste eggs into school. All the egg designs were fantastic! Thank you also to parents who spent time to help and support their children in creating their egg entries and for those parents who entered their own egg designs too! Our school council had the difficult job of judging the overall winning entries from each class – well done to all the winners. Every entry received a chocolate egg for their efforts and the winners were awarded a special prize of a larger chocolate Easter egg. Today, our Reception children enjoyed an end of topic ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic’. Our English lessons have been spent writing party invitations to our favourite soft toy or teddy. We designed our own place mats, decorating them with all of our favourite Julia Donaldson characters. We all enjoyed yummy party food and our teddies loved our party games. (Early Years Team)
