First Holy Communions

19th May 2018 By spidrwebadmin

Congratulations to our Year 4 children who made their First Holy Communion this Saturday. The boys and girls outshone the summer sunshine in their outfits and dresses. It was a fabulous occasion and lovely to see so many family members gathered together to celebrate the children’s special moment with them. Thank you to all the helpers, of which there were many, who contributed to the big day. A special thank you to Fr. Frank, Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Robinson for their time in preparing the children for the sacrament. Thank you to Mrs Jubb for providing such fabulous party food and the special cake. Lastly, thank you to the parish ladies for working non stop providing refreshments throughout the morning.

Royal Wedding Preparations.

Whilst our Reception children enjoyed a ‘Royal Wedding’ party in the summer sunshine, our Year 6 children became wedding dress designers and made some exceptional wedding dresses out of rolls of toilet paper! I must say that the Year 6 dress designs were much better than the real thing and a lot cheaper too!

9th May 2018 By spidrwebadmin

Our Year 6 children did a great job in helping to keep our school grounds clean. Following a fun litter pick, we were all very surprised at how much litter actually ends up on our playground and school field! Thanks to the brilliant efforts of the children our school looks clean, bright and tidy.
