Paste Egg and Easter Raffle
Well done to our Easter paste egg winners who each received an Easter egg prize. Well done to all the fantastic egg entries – what a talented group of egg designers we have! Congratulations too to all of the Easter egg raffle winners, enjoy your chocolate treat!
Mini Vinnies host SVP tea party
Our Mini Vinnies provided our parish SVP members with an afternoon tea party. It was a lovely opportunity for our children to meet up with SVP members in school school to share good work being carried out in our community. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious tea and cakes provided.
Reception Craft Day
Thank you to all parents and helpers who attended our Reception craft day. It was great to see you all enjoying your time in school making crafts and working with the children.
Friends of the School Coffee Morning and Easter Hamper Raffle
The Friends of the School are holding their coffee morning on Wednesday 3rd April at 9:00am in the main school hall. Everyone is welcome to join them for a cup of coffee and a cake. There will be an Easter raffle with the chance to win a fabulous Easter hamper. Raffle tickets are still available – please contact the school office or a Friends of the School represaentative if you wish to purchase a tacket.
Year 5/6 Basketball Competition

Cross Country Success
Congratulations to Ellen-Marie Atkinson, from Year 6, who came 4th in the cross country county finals today. What a fabulous achievement, considering that the best 75 runners from across the county were competing. We are all very proud of you Ellen-Marie – well done!
Our Comic Relief Danceathon has begun!
Our Comic Relief Danceathon has begun! There will be five hours of continuous dancing in our sports studio to raise money for good causes. Charles Stewart class (Year 6) start ed the day off in great dancing style! Have fun, dance and enjoy everybody.

100 Book Challenge Donation
A very big thank you to our fabulous ‘Friends of the School’ group who used some of their raised funds to purchase our KS1 and KS2 100 Book’s. The National Association for the Teaching of English ran a survey to find teachers’ top 100 fiction books all children should read before leaving each Key Stage and primary school. These exciting and popular books will be available for the children to read so that they can enrich their reading.
