At St Mary Magdalen’s, we are a school where children’s rights are at the heart of our ethos and culture and we learn about this by putting them into practice every day. With this in mind, we aim to improve wellbeing and develop the talents and abilities of children to achieve their full potential. As part of this plan, our school has currently achieved the Silver award for Rights Respecting and are working on our action plan to achieve the Gold award.
Each class has a charter of rules, that they designed together and pledge to follow as a collective. These are used in class to ensure that everyone’s right to a good education is protected.
