I have functioned diocese-wide as a governor for 40 years, involving 11 schools in all (3 comprehensive and the rest first/primary) and the following authorities: Cleveland, Durham, Northumberland and South Tyneside. On one occasion I was Chair Person and on two occasions Vice-Chair.
